St Fagans National History Museum

Set within 100 acres of beautiful gardens, the magnificent Elizabethan castle, St Fagans is a fairytale setting perfect for any couple dreaming of a magical day. Gifted to the people of Wales by the Earl of Plymouth, the Grade I listed castle boasts stunning views and a tranquil setting. With a mulberry grove, vinery and beautiful fountains there are endless places to take your all-important photographs.

Couples can choose to say ‘I do’ in the castle’s Main Hall, an intimate venue decorated in dark oak with an intricately carved fireplace, the hall can be extended to include the dining room if you need more space, capable of holding 60 of your nearest and dearest for the ceremony and 40 for the reception. The gardens are also available, which can house a marquee with a maximum capacity of 140. For a truly authentic piece of Welsh history, the Oakdale Workmen’s Institute is also an option with space for 90 for the ceremony and reception. As of late 2017, The Atrium will also be available, a magnificent space within the main building that can accommodate 200 guests.
