National Waterfront Museum
Situated in the heart of Swansea Marina, the National Waterfront Museum boasts gorgeous views of the bay and Courtyard Gardens. Built in 1902, this Grade II listed building is the perfect combination of old and new architecture. Inside you’ll be amazed by the unique décor, with everything from an aeroplane suspended from the ceiling to a full-size 19th-century coal wagon.
The museum offers a range of spaces to suit wedding parties of all sizes. Say ‘I do’ in the Warehouse Gallery, a large space full of light and fascinating exhibits, capable of holding 180 seated guests for the ceremony and reception. For a more intimate ceremony the Marina Balcony is also available – it offers beautiful views over Swansea Marina and can hold 60 for the ceremony and reception. The Ocean Room is also available, situated on the ground floor of the former dockside warehouse it provides breathtaking views of the Marina, capable of seating 100 for the ceremony and 80 for the reception. If you’re looking for a grand space to host your reception then the Weston Hall is perfect, it’s the largest space in the museum, with space for 230. The Garden Marquee, situated in the Courtyard Gardens, can accommodate 200 guests.
