Llangoed Hall
Llangoed Hall is a stunning country hotel situated in 17 acres of gardens and parkland. In 1632 the hall formerly known as Llangoed Castle was rebuilt by Sir Henry Williams in the classic Jacobean style. The building has seen many different owners over its long history and has been renovated several times. It was sold to the Ashley family in 2010 and in 2012 it underwent a multimillion-pound refurbishment.
The award-winning hotel has 23 beautiful bedrooms to choose from, each individually designed to create a grand and charming atmosphere. It boasts a rustic interior throughout and views of the Black Mountains, the ideal backdrop for those all-important photographs. Guests can take a stroll in the gardens and admire the flower beds, fruit trees and secret garden with its own hedged maze.
Tie the knot in the Drawing Room. It boasts a large fireplace and has space for 120 of your nearest and dearest throughout the day.
The well-lit Orangery has French windows and doors allowing plenty of natural light with room for 100 of your loved ones for the ceremony and it can be joined to the Garden Room for the reception to hold 120.
The Morning Room is also available and offers breathtaking views of the mountains and has a maximum capacity of 95 of your friends and family for the ceremony and 30 for the evening celebration.
Alternatively, the Garden Room, Dining Room and Whistler Rooms are available for the ceremony with space for 50, 40 and 30 respectively and 40, 50 and 25 for the party.
The Library can also be used for your reception and is the oldest part of Llangoed Hall dating back to 1632, with a capacity of 30 partygoers.
