Cefn Tilla Court

Steeped in history dating back to the 17th century, Cefn Tilla Court was once home to Lord Raglan, the youngest son of the Duke of Beaufort. Situated within 120 acres of beautiful countryside, the property boasts landscaped gardens, front lawns and an ornamental lily pond which offers a peaceful and scenic setting for a drinks reception. The venue is available on an exclusive use basis with a range of accommodation options available, including shepherd’s huts, stables, a coach house and apartments.

The Great Hall is ideal for intimate celebrations with room for up to 90 friends and family for the ceremony and 40 for the reception. Located at the front of the house, its windows overlook the front lawns and lily pond letting in plenty of natural light, and the wood-panelling and carved historic family crest exude a sense of history and charm.

Alternatively, the Pagoda, which is located next to the ornate lily pond, is available for weddings of up to 170 guests.

The Courtyard Marquee can accommodate 150 loved ones during the day and 200 in the evening.

Top tips for wearing make-up for oily skin

Top tips for wearing make-up for oily skin

This is actually a very common problem and doesn't mean you need to avoid wearing make-up. I use Illamasqua Matte Veil Primer, an amazing non-silicon based primer, on this type of skin. It creates a lovely base for your foundation without making your skin slippery. I also opt for MAC Pro Longwear Waterproof Foundation. Not many people are away of this product, it's great if you expect to cry or sweat on the day and it's buildable so you can wear it sheer or heavy. I then use a cotton pad to press fixing powder into the oiliest areas. I like to use Federico Mahora Fixing Powder, it's not expensive, not bright white or yellow and works like a dream.
