July/August 2020

I think we can all agree its been a stressful few months. Many of you will have sadly had to postpone your nuptials, but hopefully things will slowly get back to normal and just in time for wedding season! Whether you’re looking for a venue, photographer or the perfect dress, we’ve got you covered with an issue bursting with inspiration.

We’re looking at beautiful flowers on page 49, local photographers showcase their favourite images on page 59, and we explore Pembrokeshire and Swansea on page 15. We’re always looking for styled shoots and real weddings to feature in the magazine, so if you’d like to be involved, email me at Melissab@kdmediapublishing.com

Happy planning!

Llechwen Hall Hotel

Llechwen Hall Hotel is a charming Victorian manor that was transformed into a luxurious hotel in 1990 and still retains much of its 17th-century décor and historical charm. Perched above Mount Llanfabon and situated in six acres of hilltop countryside, there are plenty of places to take photographs. The property recently underwent an extension and boasts 24 new bedrooms (44 in total). Each has a modern yet traditional décor, Welsh toiletries and stylish bedding. There’s also an on-site AA Rosette winning restaurant, a lounge and a bar area that’s decorated with soft furnishings to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Lovebirds can choose from three areas for the vows. The Nelson Suite has original oak beams, a private entrance, a bar, bi-folding doors and space for 100 friends and family for the ceremony and 50 seated for the wedding breakfast.

The Garden Marquee is ideal for larger celebrations of up to 300. This purpose-built structure has floor-to-ceiling glass panels, impressive views, crisp white drapes, a private bar, bespoke lighting, air conditioning and a dancefloor.

Due to open in 2020, the Jail House is a historic stone building that was once used as an overnight stop-over for alleged convicts heading to the magistrates the following day. Currently being renovated, the building comprises of original oak beams, rustic chandeliers and an interior balcony that overlooks ceremonies taking place below.
