It’s finally time to get rid of that winter coat and celebrate – spring is here! I for one am happy to say goodbye to the gloomy weather and welcome in the new season. There’s always a hint of excitement in the air as everyone’s getting over the winter blues and preparing for summer.
This is an exciting time in your life, whether you’re newly engaged or an existing reader – we understand how important it is to get those details just right. We want your nuptials to not only look spectacular but also be something you look back at fondly for the rest of your life, so think of us as your new BBF for all things weddings.
This issue is bursting with inspiration; we have four real weddings starting on page 39, a guide on how to choose your big-day entertainment on page 65 and the latest gowns on page 83.
I hope you enjoy the issue and don’t forget you can submit your wedding at any time by visiting this link – www.yoursouthwales.wedding/get-involved-real-wedding | |

De Courceys Manor
De Courceys Manor is a five-star property that’s been family-owned and managed since 2009. Inside this Georgian manor is a classic décor, with Waterford crystal chandeliers, a gin bar and French boudoir-style toilets. Situated in acres of manicured gardens, there are plenty of places to take those all-important photographs, including ornamental statues, a bespoke moongate swing and beautiful lights that can be set to any colour. Guests are welcome to stay in the six double cottages and two family cottages, able to accommodate up to 30 people.
Couples can get married in the Oriental Suite, which has a neutral décor throughout, perfect for couples looking for a blank canvas and space for 25 guests.
Alternatively, the Floral Suite can be used. This room oozes elegance and can cater for up to 130 friends and family for the service and 60 for the wedding breakfast.
The Tapestry Suite has a dedicated bar and room for 130 nearest and dearest throughout the day.
