Add a royal flavour to your wedding celebrations

Simply Ice Cream has introduced two new flavours to its range in honour of the forthcoming royal wedding.

With the UK preparing to celebrate Prince Harry and Meghan's wedding on 19th May, the company has launched the new tasty desserts in their honour. The first, Elderflower and Lemon sorbet, features the zesty tang of fresh lemons with a subtle floral touch of elderflower, a flavour Meghan has chosen for her wedding cake. The second, a banana ice cream, is a scoop of straightforward fun, dedicated to Prince Harry who's said to be bananas about bananas.

"We're already so excited about the royal wedding and as everyone watches the events unfurl on May 19th, we thought it would be fun to taste some of the flavours the royal couple will be enjoying in their private celebrations after the wedding," says Sally Newall, managing director of Simply Ice Cream.

The sorbet and ice cream will be priced at £4.99, available from farm shops, fine food stores, delicatessens, cafes, tea rooms and restaurants across Kent, Sussex, Essex, Surrey and London.
