We adore this regional shoot on page 113 of the current issue!
Cardiff-based make-up artist Nicola Gordon-Jones teamed up with some of the region's finest suppliers to create this beautiful set of images.
“Our inspiration for this shoot was modern-day glamour,” says Nicola. “For the make-up, my team and I created a strong, fresh and flawless look, highlighting each model's natural features. We complemented their soft, dewy skin with shimmery eyeshadows and mascara to make their eyes pop. When it came to the hair, we opted for a few styles, including French plaits, a traditional bun and a timeless ponytail.”
The shoot took place at Rosedew Farm in Llantwit Major. “The huge windows let in lots of natural light,” explains Nicola. “The rustic walls really brought the pictures to life and created a quirky backdrop.”
The dresses were provided by Laura May Bridal in Cardiff. “The team chose elegant and glamorous gowns,” adds Nicola. “Each look was finished with a sophisticated Aslett and Willatt hairpiece designed.”
Here are some of our favourite images and a list of the suppliers involved.
