Your wedding, your way
With the Pandemic derailing wedding plans since 2020, the next few years look set to be a busy time for couples celebrating...
We adore this regional shoot on page 92 of the current issue!
Victoria Northbrooke from Coco Bella Bride, based in Pontypridd, organised this photo shoot at the stunning Caldicot Castle in Monmouthshire. “Maxine from Maxine Howells Photography and I are big fans of Game of Thrones, and we decided to collaborate to create our own interpretation,” says Victoria. “We were inspired by the Medieval backdrops, heraldry and regal themes used in the show, and we tried to incorporate them into our shoot.”
The dresses were provided by Pritchard & Moore in Cardiff. “We styled the beautiful gowns with rich faux furs, forest-inspired garlands and headdresses, which complemented the vintage shields, swords and goblets provided by Megan & Claude perfectly,” adds Victoria.
The suits were supplied by Dyfed Menswear, and the beautiful blooms were made by Hilary's Floral Design.
“For the make-up, I wanted to capture the ethereal beauty and iconic femininity of the leading ladies in Game of Thrones,” says Victoria. “I contrasted the models' soft, dewy skin with deep berry lips and subtle gold eyeshadow, which created a gorgeous wintry look.”
Here are some of our favourite images and a list of the suppliers involved.
