Can you believe we’re in 2019? It seems like just yesterday it was Easter, but here we are, getting ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day. I love this time of year. Everyone is still excited from Christmas and ready to say goodbye to the cold weather and welcome the spring. I never usually make any new year’s resolutions. I stick to them for a day and then give up; self-control just isn’t my thing – especially when food is involved! But this year I’m determined to give sweet treats a wide birth – wish me luck!

Peterstone Court Country House & Spa
Peterstone Court Country House & Spa is situated in the heart of Brecon Beacons National Park. Overlooking the Pen y Fan mountain range, there are lots of places to explore, including the feature terrace and landscaped gardens. Traditional décor is peppered with contemporary details, including a grand staircase and feature fireplace. The exterior remains loyal to its Georgian heritage, and the venue offers accommodation and spa facilities – perfect for pre- and post-wedding pampering.
Lovebirds can tie the knot in the Library, which boasts wood-panelled walls and has space for 30 loved ones for the ceremony.
The Pen y Fan Ballroom, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and its own bar, is also available. One hundred and twenty-five friends and family can be accommodated for the service and up to 130 are welcome to attend the evening reception.
Couples will receive a complimentary bedroom on the night of the wedding.
