Firstly, I hope all of our readers have been keeping well during this surreal, unprecedented time. It would be hard for me to not mention the dreaded c-word, however, I admire how everyone, no matter how badly they have been effected, has come together to help and support one another. The tide will start turning, and we can all begin to re-plan cancelled weddings, re-book honeymoons and get back to our wonderful world of weddings – supporting local couples and businesses finding their feet again!

Summer is full of beautiful hues and al fresco celebrations so to help inspire you we’ve put together an issue bursting with inspiration. We have four real weddings starting on page 27, an explosion of colour in our fashion pages on page 65 and a stunning shoot on page 61. If you’re like me and love anything covered in chocolate or icing, then you’ll also adore our cakes feature on page 51.

We’re always looking for wedding and shoots to feature in the magazine, so if you’ve recently tied the knot or are planning to make sure you submit your wedding at - www.yoursouthwales.wedding/get-involved-real-wedding

Bryngarw House

Bryngarw House is a historic property situated in more than 113 acres of gorgeous parkland. The hotel is thought to have been built in the 15th-century and is now an exclusive wedding venue. Outside, couples will find plenty of places to take photographs, including Bryngarw Country Park which features a beautiful ornamental bridge and tea house. Indoors, there are 19 luxurious en-suite bedrooms, including the honeymoon suite, to choose from, a picturesque conservatory and the perfect blend of country charm and modern elegance.

Bursting with character, the Treharne Suite is a stunning space filled with natural light and is capable of holding 120 loved ones for the ceremony.

Alternatively, the fixed marquee can be used. Boasting elegant drapes, a large bar and twinkling dancefloor, this breathtaking area can accommodate 120 friends and family for the service and 250 for the reception.
