Fall in love with your hair this Valentine's Day

Fall in love with your hair this Valentine's Day: Image 1 Well-groomed hair plays a big part in helping you look your best, but how can you achieve salon-worthy locks?

Despite being over 125 years old, Mason Pearson has never looked better. The iconic brush brand has been the mane attraction for more than a century and shows no sign of slowing down.

Each handmade brush makes styling easy. It offers a range of natural boar bristles, a nylon mixture and all-nylon for fine, normal, long, thick, coarse, child's and even has a sensitive version for thinning hair.

Brushing with natural bristles helps to delicately condition the hair by redistributing the oils from root to tip. Prices range from around £28.50 to £145.00.

The junior (medium-sized) brush is shown here (approx. £74.) This is handmade with natural boar bristles and nylon tufts. It comes in dark ruby, pink, blue or ivory white. We think the latter is a simply stunning gift option for a bride-to-be. Not only would it look great on your vanity unit but your hair will love you for it. Having tried the brush we've noticed a natural shine has now appeared and it's in much better condition where the well-made bristles are not dragging their way through out tresses.

A selection of handmade combs using traditional techniques is also available. This ensures smoothly tapered snag-free teeth and rounded tips. Seven different styles are available: Dressing, Detangling, Tail, Styling, Pocket, Cutting and Rake combs. Prices range from £7.75 to £13.50 approximately. Also available is a choice of two pure badger shaving brushes.
