One of the Maldives' most sought-after resorts for couples is now offering a host of complimentary honeymoon benefits and experiences for all 2020 brides and grooms who may have had to miss out on their planned honeymoons this summer!

Milaidhoo Island Maldives, a leading resort for romance, is offering all couples that tie the knot in 2020 or those forced to postpone their honeymoon due to travel restrictions, complimentary extended honeymoon benefits right up until the end of 2021.

The special offerings include an array of magical moments for newlyweds to experience; the Milaidhoo team will name a star in the night sky after the couple, which will be copyrighted with its co-ordinates so that the pair are able to identify and locate the star from anywhere in the world for generations to come. Couples will have the choice of the name and in which constellation the star is located - what could be more romantic than spotting your very own star glistening above you in the night sky?

The couple will also be treated to a complimentary 60-minute spa treatment for two in the stunning Serenity Spa, which comprises of thatched-roof over-water treatment rooms where guests can unwind listening to the splashing waves and the gentle Maldivian breeze. Island hosts will also transform the deck of honeymooners' private pool villa to arrange an utterly romantic three-course candlelit dinner, and run a flower petal bath for couples to relax in after dinner with scented oils and a bottle of Ruinart champagne.
New for this year, honeymooners will receive a private wedding vow mini ceremony set up on the beach which will be topped off with a cake cutting and a champagne toast – the perfect way to celebrate!

Milaidhoo Island Maldives is set more than 13 acres atop the Baa Atoll's beautiful UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and is the ultimate romantic Maldivian escape for stylish couples. All villas are just a short, barefoot stroll away from incredible watersports, fitness, yoga and an expert spa, as well as world-class diving and three restaurants, one of which – Ba'theli – is the only Maldivian restaurant in the country.
The resort can be easily reached via a 30-minute seaplane from the international airport in Male or a 15-minute domestic flight to Dharavandhoo domestic airport in Baa Atoll, followed by a 15-minute speedboat to Milaidhoo Island.
Rates start from $1,625 per night in a Water Pool Villa on a half board basis, based on two sharing; a four night minimum stay applies for the honeymoon benefits.
