The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama is situated in Cardiff city centre. The venue overlooks the magnificent Grade I listed Bute Park and surrounding 19th-century civic buildings and was originally known as Cardiff Castle Stables. The college is surrounded by acres of lush countryside, ideal for taking those all-important photographs.
Celebrate in style
Brides and grooms can get married in the world-class Concert Hall, which has room for up to 250 guests for the ceremony.
Alternatively, the Richard Burton Theatre can accommodate 130 friends and family for the service.
The Anthony Hopkins Centre is also available. Made up of two areas; one has space for 85 loved ones for the vows, and the other can hold 60.
Receptions can take place in the glass-walled Atrium. Boasting a private bar, dancing area, cloakroom and bridge decorated in fairylights, it can hold 300 nearest and dearest for the evening celebration.
The Entrance Hall and open-air Terrace can also be used, with space for 200 attendees.
The Stables are ideal for more intimate celebrations, with room for 50 people.
We love...
The venue’s grand exterior.
