Beth and Lee tied the knot at Merthyr Tydfil Register Office and are planning a reception next year

Beth and Lee first laid eyes on each other at school. "We've been together for 18 years," shares Beth. "After eight wonderful years, Lee proposed in 2010 during a stay in Cardiff. We booked our wedding during the pandemic to keep it small and intimate. We originally had a meal for 30 people booked at The Bessemer Hotel, but since lockdown caused the venue to close we instead had a small ceremony at Merthyr Tydfil Register Office. We're planning to have a reception in July 2021. I'm going to re-wear my dress, we've booked a band and are treating the celebration as a second wedding with bridesmaids and ushers."
