How to choose a mother-of-the-bride/groom outfit for an autumn wedding

Mother-of-the-bride dress

Q – I’ve decided to wear a red wedding dress for our autumn-themed wedding. My mum wants to wear an outfit that will fit the time of year but not clash with my gown. Do you have any suggestions?

"I love the sound of your wedding! Red is such a beautiful, bold colour, so whilst looking for the perfect outfit for your mum, there are a few things to consider. What do you want the wedding party to look like? Would you like to adopt the colour red alongside an autumn theme throughout? Perhaps look at berry shades of bright magenta, deep aubergine or burnt orange. Alternatively, you could use softer tones of beige or gold, which are rich and luxurious and will really make her dress pop.

"Most importantly, the colour must suit your mum’s complexion leaving her feeling confident and excited for the big day."
