New luxury hotel platform aims to put the trust back into booking sites

A new independent boutique and luxury hotel platform has launched, offering an alternative to the 'noise' of large scale booking sites and hotel chains - perfect for those looking to book a pre- or post-wedding break away!

LBH (Luxury & Boutique Hotels) is the brainchild of husband and wife pair Gregor and Claire Ritchie, who have over 60 years' hospitality experience. It offers customers preferential rates, offers and inspiration on a carefully curated collection of independent boutique and luxury hotels. LBH members already include Pennyhill Park in Bagshot, Royal Garden Hotel in London, Hoar Cross Hall in Burton upon Trent, and the Feversham Arms in North Yorkshire, all of which boast a combination of world leading spas, Michelin-rated restaurants and five stars. Pennyhill Park recently scored the highest accreditation on BVA BDRC's VenueVerdict in its first year of assessment.

Subscribers are automatically entered into a monthly prize draw, with one lucky LBH follower winning a weekend break at one of the member hotels. "Ours is a heartfelt mission to take away the 'smoke and mirrors' of hotel booking sites and restore the trust," said Gregor. "We feel the industry is just getting too noisy and overworked with booking and review sites; we are passionate people with a love for independent hotels and the message 'use them or lose them'.
