Wedding planner, TogetherNess Weddings, has won Wedding Planner of the Year at the Welsh Wedding Awards.

We spoke to the owner, Vanessa Shipman, to find out more about the company: “With more than 15 years’ experience working in events, a deep knowledge and love for Wales, and an ever-growing passion for preserving our natural world and tackling a throw away culture within the wedding industry,

"TogetherNess Weddings was founded in 2015, and has been helping couples create sustainable events ever since. We strongly believe all events, weddings included, can be unique and inspiring, allowing personality to shine through. By avoiding plastics and single-use products, upcycling, reusing, and working with artisan, local producers and suppliers we create bespoke events that support small business across Wales as well as keeping their environmental impact to a minimum.

"We have worked with couples on tiny, intimate hand-fastings to large-scale festival wedding weekends for hundreds of people, but no matter the size or setting the personalised and bespoke service we offer is always crammed full of joy, love and individuality.”
