Lydia and Michael celebrated their traditional day at St Tewdrics House

Lydia and Michael first locked eyes in a cocktail bar in Cardiff. “We laughed a lot and had a similar sense of fun,” says Lydia. “Neither of us thought for one moment it would get further than that, but we just clicked.”

Michael asked his bride the ultimate question at his home. “He had a crick in his neck complete with a neck brace,” explains the bride. “He was prepping to watch the footie in bed but couldn’t keep a surprise to save his life and ended up asking me to marry him then and there.”
