The Vale Resort is situated within 650 acres of countryside, creating endless opportunities to take photographs. There are nine deluxe suites available for weddings. The Conservatory is a popular choice that’s full of natural daylight with doors that open out onto the terrace overlooking the lake golf course. The room can hold 120 loved ones for the vows, 60 for the wedding breakfast and 80 for the reception.

The Castle Suite is perfect for larger nuptials. Boasting high ceiling, grand windows, a private bar and terrace balcony, it can accommodate 400 guests throughout the day.

Alternatively, the Morgannwg Suite is available. Located on the first floor, it has a private bar, views of the golf course, a spiral staircase and room for 130 friends and family for the meal and 200 for the evening celebration.

Those looking for a smaller space will love the Cowbridge Lounge. Beautifully decorated with lots of natural light, it can host 50 nearest and dearest for the service.

Couples will receive a free bedroom, anniversary dinner, a month’s membership to the health club, a round of golf for the groom and three friends and a 20 per cent discount at the Vale Spa.

1 September is the most common wedding anniversary date, with an average of 1,557 marriages taking place on the date, new analysis has revealed. The research, from drinks and gifting retailer Bottled and Boxed, analysed 22 years of marriage registration data from the Office for National Statistics to identify the dates when couples across England and Wales are most likely to be celebrating their wedding anniversaries each year. Every date in the top 10 falls between late July and early September, showing how heavily the most common anniversaries are concentrated in late summer. August is the most common month for wedding anniversaries, accounting for 15.7% of all marriages analysed, with an average of 1,254 couples married per day.
