Top tips for finding the perfect wedding dress for a September wedding

Lace wedding dress

Q – What styles and fabrics would you suggest for a September wedding?

"September is a lovely time of year for a wedding. The weather is usually good, not quite summer but not quite autumn. It can be a little cool, so I’d suggest you look for a dress with sleeves or one that comes with a matching jacket. Mikado or a heavier lace would be a little warmer than softer tulles that lend themselves to warm, summery days.

"Style-wise, I’d go for a fitted dress or one that’s more structured. For the bridal party, again I’d opt for a heavier fabric, as shivering bridesmaids don’t look good! Soft blues, sage greens and ivory shades work well for this time of year."
