How to create a wintry-inspired look

Winter bride

Q – We’re having a wintry wedding, and I’d love to incorporate the time of year into my make-up. Do you have any suggestions?

"Wintry weddings offer gorgeous outdoor scenery with gorgeous trees, cloudy skies and misty grass, that will make a photo to remember. Always talk to your chosen make-up artist about your expectations. Show them any images that you have searched and saved before the trial to help give them an idea of your likes and dislikes. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and tell them what you want from the day.

"If you have a snowy complexion, add copper or a peach blusher to your cheeks with a matching lipstick. For tanned skin, look for smoky bronzes and earthy shades paired with a pale, nude lipstick. Lastly, darker complexions should define the eyes with an eyeshadow that matches the bouquet and a splash of lipstick.

"Whatever look you choose, you should always feel comfortable and confident in your appearance."
