How to find a dress that will keep you warm this winter while still being stylish

Winter wedding

Q – I’m looking for a dress that will keep me warm at our December wedding. Do you have any ideas of what I should look for?

"I love winter, it’s my favourite time of year, but the weather can be a bit hit and miss! Look for a dress with three-quarter-length or capped sleeves to help keep the chill at bay. Try and choose something with sparkle, so the light catches the detailing. Great examples are Pimpa or Zazzy from Adriana Alier by Rosa Clará. Both have lace with clear beading and sequins that sparkle when you move.

"If you’re not keen on the idea of wearing sleeves, then look for a fabulous accessory instead. A bolero or wrap will add some warmth to your outfit without detracting from your dress. Alternatively, bridal capes are a rising trend that can be removed if you start to feel warm throughout the day."
