The Wedding Dress Shop is returning for a second series

The Wedding Dress Shop

The Wedding Dress Shop is returning for a second series. The BBC One Wales show focuses on bespoke dress designer, Samm Buca and her Bridgend boutique, Pink Butterfly Brides. Throughout the series, brides-to-be enter the shop looking for the dress of their dreams. Every visit brings an emotional and uplifting story, while the team try their best to find the bride the perfect gown.

In the first episode, 33-year-old Lynsey is in for the final fitting of her dress for her unusually themed renewal of vows to husband Ashley. Inspired by a shared passion for Harry Potter and Game of Thrones, the couple plan a fantasy themed ceremony and Lynsey needs an epic wedding dress fit for the occasion. It soon unfolds there’s a very moving reason behind their plans; a devastating diagnosis which has left the couple determined to make the most of their time together. From white walkers on horseback to grand thrones, it’s a wedding even Jon Snow would be proud of.
