Llancaiach Fawr Manor is a Grade I listed property that’s steeped in history. The building is one of the finest surviving fortified Tudor manor houses in the country and is located in the heart of the South Wales Valleys. Its secluded and peaceful setting is the ideal location for any weddings and is close to major transport links. The 16th-century manor has been restored to how it was during the royal visit of King Charles I in 1645.

Celebrate in style
The Parlour is ideal for an atmospheric candlelit ceremony for up to 30 guests. Alternatively, the Great Hall can be used to accommodate up to 50 people.

Large gatherings are held in the light and modern Conservatory. Boasting panoramic views across the countryside, it’s capable of holding 70 friends and family for the service.

The modern yet traditional Mansell Hall, which can hold up to 120 loved ones, is also available.

Receptions for more than 120 nearest and dearest are held in the elegant marquee. Located on the tree-lined meadow, it’s perfect for a drinks reception and those all-important photographs.

We love...
The venue is located close to the pre-historic landscape of Gelligaer Common, a place of significant historical importance, and is just 15 minutes from the Brecons Beacons National Park.
