How to create two different looks on your wedding day

Couple dancing

Q – I want to create two different looks for my upcoming wedding and wondered if you had any suggestions of how I can transform my dress for the evening reception?

"Creating two different looks for your wedding day is a huge trend at the moment. To do this, you could go for a completely different dress for your evening reception. Look for a design that’s sleek, simple, easy to move and dance around in and a complete contrast to your ceremony look.

"Alternatively, find a design that has a detachable lace bolero or cape detail that can be worn for the ceremony and removed for the evening celebration. This option is very popular for ladies who want to keep their arms and shoulders covered for a church service and transform for the party.

"Find a dress that has a detachable train or overskirt. This option is my absolute favourite as you get two dresses in one! When the train or overskirt is attached the gown looks like an A-line or ballgown then once it’s removed it will reveal a slimmer fitted gown, which is easier to move around in."
