Llancaiach Fawr Manor is a Grade I listed property that’s steeped in history. Described as one of the finest surviving fortified Tudor manor houses in the country, the venue is located in the heart of the picturesque South Wales Valleys and is a secluded and peaceful setting for weddings. The 16th-century manor has been restored to how it was during the royal visit of King Charles I in 1645, with plenty of places to stop and take photographs.
Celebrate in style
The Parlour provides the perfect setting for an atmospheric candlelit ceremony for up to 30 friends and family, or the splendid Great Hall can be used for 50 people.
Large gatherings are held in the light and modern Conservatory, which offers panoramic views across the surrounding countryside and can accommodate 70 guests.
The modern yet traditional Mansell Hall, which can hold 120 loved ones for the ceremony or an evening celebration, is ideal for dancing the night away.
Receptions for more than 120 people take place in the elegant Marquee situated on the tree-lined meadow. The attractive formal gardens are lovely for a champagne and canapés reception in the summer months or for treasured family photographs.
We love...
The venue is located close to the prehistoric landscape of Gelligaer Common, a place of significant historical importance and is only 15 minutes from Brecon Beacons National Park.
