David Walliams voices new Sleep Story for Calm to help people who dread bed time find some peace and relaxation.

After his own sleep problems, Walliams joins Stephen Fry, Matthew McConaughey, Joanna Lumley and Leona Lewis in glittering list of celebrity Sleep Story narrators who wants to help others sleep better.

David Walliams, the actor, comedian, talent show judge, charity swimmer and best-selling author, is adding yet another string to his bow – by narrating a quirky new Sleep Story for Calm, the popular app for sleep and meditation.

Calm users can now fall asleep to the sound of Walliams reading “Sienna the Sleepy Sloth” – a soothing bedtime tale for adults and children about a furry young sloth, living deep in the Central American jungle.

Sienna, the sloth, is raised to know the three ways of sloth life – “Move slowly, breathe deeply and sleep soundly” – and the solemn duty of all sloths: “To inspire rest and relaxation in the jungle”.

“We're thrilled to have David Walliams read a Sleep Story for Calm”, says Michael/Alex, co-founder of Calm. “If anyone knows what makes a great story and how to tell one, then he does.”

Sleep Stories are just one part of Calm's mission to make the world happier and healthier. Calm is helping millions of people worldwide to sleep, meditate, breathe, and relax, with content including: Sleep Stories, meditations, natures scenes and sounds, Calm Body, Masterclasses, music and more.
