Llancaiach Fawr Manor is a 16th-century manor that’s been restored to how it would have looked during the royal visit of King Charles I in 1645. The Grade I listed property is steeped in history and is described as one of the finest surviving fortified Tudor manor houses in the country. Located in the heart of the picturesque South Wales Valleys, it’s a secluded paradise that’s perfect for weddings.

Celebrate in style
The light and modern Conservatory, which offers panoramic views across the surrounding countryside, can accommodate 70 guests.

Small weddings take place in the Parlour, which provides the perfect setting for an atmospheric candlelit ceremony for up to 30 friends and family, or the splendid Great Hall can be used for 50 people.

Alternatively, the Mansell Hall perfectly combines modern and traditional décor and is capable of holding 120 loved ones.

Receptions for more than 120 people take place in the elegant marquee. Situated on the tree-lined meadow, the attractive formal gardens are ideal for a champagne and canapés reception in the summer months or treasured family photographs.

We love...
The manor house is located close to the prehistoric landscape of Gelligaer Common, a place of significant historical importance, and is only 15 minutes from Brecon Beacons National Park.
