Nestled within 650 acres of beautiful Welsh countryside is the 17th-century Hensol Castle. This grand wedding venue has been sympathetically renovated and boasts a modern décor with arched windows, oak panelling and sweeping staircases. Outside is a 15- acre lake which makes a stunning backdrop for those all-important photographs. Then, when ready, guests can retire to one of the new luxury bedrooms, each with beautiful and bespoke features fit for royalty, like roll-top baths and four-poster beds.

Celebrate in style
The resplendent Oak Room is available for ceremonies and boasts impressive views of the nearby lake. Alternatively, couples can take in the breathtaking Welsh countryside in a romantic outdoor ceremony under the bandstand with the castle as a stunning backdrop.

Receptions are held in the purpose-built Courtyard Hall, which has luxurious décor throughout and space for 150 friends and loved ones for the wedding breakfast and 200 for the evening reception.

We love...
Hensol Castle offers the happy couple a free bedroom on the night of the wedding, an anniversary dinner at the Vale Resort (located on the estate), a month’s membership to the Vale health club, a round of golf for the groom and three friends and a 20 per cent discount at the Vale Spa.
