Hensol Castle is a 17th-century castle perfectly placed within 650 acres of Welsh countryside. Sympathetically renovated and boasting a modern décor throughout, the castle has arched windows, oak panelling, and sweeping staircases. Those of you looking to stay the night will love the new luxury bedrooms; each has bespoke features such as roll-top baths and four-poster beds.

Ceremonies are held in the resplendent Oak Room or outside under the bandstand, which offers impressive views of the Welsh countryside.

Receptions take place in the purpose-built Courtyard Hall, which has a luxurious décor throughout and space for 150 of your guests for the wedding breakfast and 200 for the evening reception.

To ensure their day feels truly unique, many are turning to unconventional superstitions and spiritual services. Over one in five (22%) Brits said they have buried or would consider burying a sausage to guarantee good weather on their wedding day. Meanwhile, over a third (39%) would consider hiring an 'Etsy witch' or similar spiritualist to provide blessing rituals for their big day.
