Glen-Yr-Afon is an award-winning wedding venue surrounded by acres of countryside and picturesque gardens. First opening its doors in 1974, the hotel is home to 28 modern bedrooms and is just a short walk away from the town of Usk, which is full of boutique shops and restaurants.
Celebrate in style
The Library, with its conical ceiling and striking interior, can hold 30 of your nearest and dearest for the vows and 20 for the reception, and weather-depending, you can get married in the venue’s grounds.
Alternatively, The Ballroom is an elegant space with large bay windows and room for 150 of your friends and family throughout the day.
Smaller weddings are held in the Dining Room, which can be used for up to 45 of your loved ones for the vows and 35 for the meal.

Driftwood Designs has released a new collection of folding heart cards. Illustrated by artist Lizzie Spikes, these beautifully crafted cards offer a thoughtful way to show members of your wedding party just how much they mean to you.
Inspired by Victorian puzzle cards, the beauty begins with the brightly coloured envelope. When opened, the card pops out into a heart shape featuring one of two striking designs. Expert says prenups aren't just for the rich and famous
Legal experts at Richard Nelson LLP are urging Brits to rethink who prenups are really for. While often seen as something reserved for high-profile couples, data suggests they remain largely overlooked in everyday relationships. Just 7 percent of divorced Brits had a prenuptial agreement in place before separating, highlighting a significant gap between perception and reality. Regionally, attitudes vary. Manchester has emerged as the UK's 'prenup capital', with 13 percent of divorced couples having one in place, compared to 8 percent in London and 11 percent in Birmingham. Meanwhile, cities including Liverpool and Southampton reported no uptake among those surveyed.
