Oxwich Bay Hotel was shortlisted for the Welsh National Wedding Awards 2025, a recognition of its outstanding service, stunning coastal backdrop, and long-standing reputation as one of Wales’s most sought-after wedding destinations. Set within the UK’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, along the stunning Gower Peninsula, Oxwich Bay Hotel combines historic charm, coastal beauty, and warm Welsh hospitality to create a romantic setting.

From golden hour vows to receptions beneath the stars, couples can choose from a variety of picture-perfect venues — from the 17th-century Chestnut Room, with its exposed stone walls and a fireplace carved from the trunk of a 300-year-old chestnut tree, to the Wedding Marquee, surrounded by unspoilt woodlands and offering uninterrupted views across the bay.

The hotel’s dedicated team of wedding planners provide expert, personalised support from the first enquiry through to the final farewell, tailoring each celebration to reflect the couple’s unique story. Menus are crafted using the best of seasonal Welsh produce, and guests can choose from a range of accommodation options including the Old Rectory, Ivy Cottage, Secret Garden Pods, and Beach Walk Parc caravans -all just steps from the beach.

Packages start from £5,000 for twilight weddings, with weekend-long and exclusive-use options also available. A small number of 2025 dates remain open, with bookings now being taken for 2026 and 2027.
