Managing Director of Wishbone & Comb, Laura Glanville, reveals how you can ensure your hair and make-up stay in place on a hot summer's day.

"Sleep in dry shampoo the night before and avoid washing it on the day.

"Consider having an up do to stop your locks getting sticky or dropping.

"Use an oil-free primer to prep your skin and avoid using heavy night creams.

"If you're wearing flash lashes, use waterproof glue and finish the look with a few coats of mascara.

"Use products with a matte finish and avoid shiny highlighters, as these can make you look flustered in photographs."
