Court Colman Manor is a Georgian mansion in the foothills of the Garw Valley. The venue originally belonged to the Margam Abbey before it was transformed into a hotel in 1981. The property combines modern and period décor to create a gorgeous backdrop for weddings. It boasts three function areas, large fireplaces, a sweeping staircase, a modern lounge, 29 stylish bedrooms and an on-site Indian restaurant. The exterior has large windows and is surrounded be quaint ponds, water fountains and charming countryside. A new addition is the Ivy Cottage. Tucked away in the grounds, it offers a quirky alternative to staying in the hotel.
The Versailles Ballroom features blush wallpaper, marble pillars and crystal chandeliers, with space for 120 nearest and dearest throughout the day.
The Garden Room is a light and airy area that was originally built as a conservatory. It features large windows and can be combined with the Versailles Ballroom to accommodate larger celebrations, with room for 80 loved ones.
Alternatively, the Llewellyn Room is available. Named after the family who originally lived at the property, it has wood panelling, an Edwardian skylight and can hold 45 guests. Couples will receive a complimentary anniversary stay to relive their big day.
