FudgePots, a micro-business in Cowbridge specialising in spiced and unusual fudges, has begun supplying premium shops with luxury-packaged fudge. Perfect as wedding favours, the company was created when founders Rita Som and Catrin Thomas-Price, decided to combine Catrin's mum's fudge recipe with Rita's knowledge of Indian cuisine. The duo offers vegan options, standard flavours and fun, exotic options. "The process has already begun, and I can tell you, it's a long journey from standing in wellies in open fields, delivering sales patter to passing punters, to the comfort of packing up regular shop deliveries," says Catrin.
